Speaking Engagements

Being a Better Board Member 2022

Coming soon!

Watch a recording of our fifth annual nonprofit governance program, which reviewed how Board and Committee members can best support an Executive Director in accomplishing a charity's mission. This year our panel of Executive Directors reflected on the significant changes faced by their organizations as they sought to comply with the Philadelphia 2010 Improving Outcomes for Children Initiative.

This event was co-sponsored by The Junior League of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Free Library's Regional Foundation Center, and Conley Law Group, LLC.

As a firm that serves the charitable sector, we feel a responsibility to provide thought leadership in the nonprofit community, engaging volunteers and staff at all levels of sophistication.  Our attorneys strive to raise the level of conversation within the tax-exempt sector through speaking engagements at conferences and educational programs, often provided without charge, as well as educational sessions for current and prospective members of nonprofit boards and committees.  The firm collaborates with the Junior League of Philadelphia and the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Regional Foundation Center to offer an annual free, educational training on nonprofit Board governance.
